Share work¶

Sharing provides collaborators access to a dataset or project without sharing your credentials.

Choose the right object¶

• Share a project when collaborators need the full fieldwork context and linked jobs.
• Share a CoralNet imported dataset when they need to reuse that imported source in ReefNetAI.
• Do not share CoralNet passwords or access tokens.

Permission levels¶

Use viewer access for review and editor access only when the person should change data or workflow state. The interface shows permission summaries such as Can View, Can Edit, and Inherited Sharing.

Before inviting collaborators¶

• give objects recognizable names
• add the scientific objective and protocol
• agree on the label definitions
• state who can approve corrections or model promotion
• confirm whether exports may leave the project team

Removing access to an imported dataset does not erase working data already copied into a site visit. Project access governs that copy.
